Mighty Families, Bloemfontein, South Africa

  • Mighty Families Conference Wilde Als Farm, Bloemfontein Free State South Africa (map)

The first MIGHTY FAMILIES Conference will take place from 16-18 March 2018 on the farm, Wilde Als, where the unforgettable IT’S TIME event with Angus Buchan was held. MIGHTY FAMILIES promises to be a special experience in the Lord’s presence where families from different segments of society are ministered to. Our country experiences a worrying time of family structures gradually falling apart. The heartbeat of MIGHTY FAMILIES is to create an opportunity for healing in our families, for marriages on the brink of divorce to be saved, and the hearts of children and their parents to be united, as it says in Malachi 4:6. There will be specific emphasis on diversity to welcome everyone to be part of the event as we enjoy strong Word-based ministry, wholehearted worship – led by Heinz Winckler and his wife, Aletté-Johanni – and also devoted counselling and prayer.

Nationally recognised speakers, including men and women from different racial groups, will minister that weekend. Who the speakers are will only be confirmed at a later stage. The Vision of MIGHTY FAMILIES is to inspire the people of South Africa to put the emphasis back on good, Biblical family values, and to rebuild the country with strong families. Hence, our motto is: Strong Families. Strong Nation. It is an event where Jesus is central. We trust that the good seed that was planted by the IT’S TIME event will be taken further by MIGHTY FAMILIES to inspire new hope and vision in South Africa. Believers, in particular, must, through this, be activated to make a positive difference in their communities. We also trust that churches will benefit from this, because MIGHTY FAMILIES specifically emphasises the importance of spiritual families and the critical role that congregations must play in the need of our communities – physically and morally.

The MIGHTY FAMILIES initiative ultimately aims to make a meaningful contribution to the healing of South Africa, i.e. between different racial groups, within family contexts and specifically in marriages. May it make a huge contribution to much-needed miracles in our country. We believe Jesus Christ is the Saviour of South Africa.

Lindy-Ann will also be ministering in the Healing tent throughout the conference.
